A very good surgery with good follow up, when necessary. I am concerned about the future, the government have put the partners in such an untenable position they have had to give notice so that the surgery can survive. In future we will have only the core NHS part available, I believe that people will be shocked how much they are going to loose from our surgery.

Thank you for your kind comments, we too are very concerned for the future of Primary Care within the NHS. We see 90% of patients and only receive less than 9% of the NHS budget. This is now being culled even more with money being recycled and spread too thinly. The 'outstanding' accolade we received from the government's own quality assessor just proves that a little money put into primary care actually works. Why cannot surgeries be brought up to this standard instead of successful practices being brought down? Please continue to fight for Primary Care. The Partners here are devastated that they have had no alternative.

I have been using Sutherland Lodge for over 16 years now. They have always been very professional and helpful over the years. I have never had reason to complain about the Doctors or the service of the nurses or receptionist staff. My children are now also at this surgery and I am very happy with the care and service offered.
It is such a shame that the partners have decided to resign, I really hope Sutherland Lodge will be able to live up to their great service which has been provided over the years. Myself and my family have seen each of the partners numerous times and their skills are second to none. I wish them well for the future, it is a great loss to Chelmsford.

I have been a patient at this surgery for 50 years since the time to of Dr peter Walker.
I have always had good care taken of me.
I have always been able to see one of the doctors of choice.
And ALWAYS been referred for further treatment REGARDLESS of cost to the surgery.
Although I have now moved away I am DEEPLY SORRY to hear of the present situation .

Easy enough to get appointments, especially when I had an emergency. Reception staff always listen carefully and liaise with the doctors. Always greeted kindly. All staff have been welcoming and friendly and I have always been very happy with the way I have been listened to and treated.
